Lazard is a leading global financial advisory and asset management firm seeking a seasoned professional to join its Private Capital Advisory Group (PCA). As a Vice President of Capital Raising, you will play a critical role in identifying and developing relationships with institutional investors, driving the growth of our private equity and private credit business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop relationships with institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, public funds, corporate pension funds, foundations/endowments, financial institutions, and asset managers.
  • Develop and execute a plan to close interested investors, leveraging your expertise in capital raising and investor relations.
  • Distribute offering materials, host fund managers on road shows, arrange and attend meetings, and communicate regularly with the Transaction Management team.
  • Assist the Transaction Management team in evaluating and pitching new business opportunities, utilizing your knowledge of private equity fundraising.
  • Maintain market intelligence databases and business development presentations, ensuring the team has access to the latest market trends and insights.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and development within the PCA.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of work experience in the capital raising, investor relations, or investment banking space.
  • A successful track record of fundraising or proven institutional sales skills, with a deep understanding of private equity fundraising.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a diligent, organized, and confident communication style, both internally and externally.
  • A proactive self-starter approach, with the ability to operate with minimal supervision while working collaboratively within a team.
