About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team as a Cook at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a key member of our dining services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals for patients, visitors, and staff members
  • Follow Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Safe Handling Guidelines regarding food safety and sanitation
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to improve culinary skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Two years of previous restaurant or institutional cooking experience
  • Experience in hospital food service setting, preferred
  • Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Basic computer skills
  • High School diploma or GED, preferred
  • Culinary training, preferred
  • Food Service Safe Certification (CPFS), preferred
