Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Administrative Assistant II to join our team at Marriott Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our banquet team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Management: Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests.
  • Communication: Transmit information or documents using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the banquet team, including preparing and distributing meeting materials, managing event schedules, and coordinating with vendors.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • Administrative Experience: 1+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and database management systems.
