The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment collection, and reconciliation of customer accounts. **Key Responsibilities:**

  • Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Process payments received via checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit cards.
  • Follow up with customers on overdue accounts and implement collection strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer payments, credits, and adjustments.
  • Prepare and distribute accounts receivable aging reports to management.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process by ensuring all accounts receivable activities are properly recorded.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address and resolve billing issues.
  • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the accounts receivable process.

**Requirements:**

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc., and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the Agriculture, Construction, or Manufacturing industry is a plus.
