Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Business Leader to spearhead the development of our Healthcare Practice Area. As the inaugural General Manager, you will be responsible for charting our strategy, driving key customer use cases, and closing deals and partnerships. Your primary objective will be to create a $100M+ business by leveraging your expertise in AI, healthcare, and business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create Win-Win Opportunities: Build relationships with executive-level clients, deeply understanding their needs, AI possibilities, and our capabilities to create real value.
  • Lead Commercial Liftoff: Drive adoption across life science, payer, provider, HEOR, and digital health use cases. Find partnerships where we can help enterprises automate workflows, close deals, and double the practice area's revenue each year.
  • Set the Vision and Strategy: Chart our Healthcare vision and strategy, including core use cases, pricing, positioning, branding, and channels.
  • Establish Thought Leadership: Shape our reputation as a thought leader in the healthcare industry through white papers, conference speaking engagements, and events.
  • Scale the Team: Grow, develop, and lead this team and broader P&L, starting as an individual contributor role in a scrappy organization.
Requirements
  • Passion for AI Applications: You are intellectually curious about the frontiers of AI, able to work well with engineers, and pragmatic about creating value with real applications.
  • Business Leadership Experience: You've led a business, practice area, or P&L – strategy through execution. You've been a CEO, Partner at a large Consulting firm, or have scaled a P&L as a GM.
  • Unmatched Relationships: You have a strong network of contacts and are skilled at building relationships and partnerships.
  • Fluency in Tech and Healthcare: You demonstrate credibility and experience in both realms, playing a key translational role.
  • Low Ego/High Resourcefulness: You are a doer, not an armchair strategist. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves and taking ownership of your work.
  • Team Building and Followership: You've built teams, grown leaders, and inspired followership.
