Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team in the Portland/Salem area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing programs for our public sector division, working closely with internal and external project management groups to deliver development and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting background research, data collection, and benchmarking to inform project decisions
  • Establishing effective processes and systems to ensure project success
  • Producing project plans and monitoring progress
  • Documenting project performance and tracking changes
  • Preparing project communication materials and reports
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and designers to ensure project delivery
  • Attending meetings and drafting minutes

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a PM on public sector projects of varying scope
  • K-12 experience with modernizations, expansions, capital maintenance, and green field construction
  • Experience managing the planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout phases of a project
  • Experience building and maintaining client satisfaction
  • Experience working with executive leadership within client organizations
  • Experience preparing reports and presenting to oversight groups
  • Experience managing public relations and community engagement efforts
  • Experience developing and managing high-performance teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture
  • Certifications such as CCM, CACM, DBIA, Assoc DBIA, PMP, or LCI
  • Experience with Oregon public contracting and ORS/OAR/BOLI compliance
