Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and rectify application errors and issues, liaising with the software provider as needed.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to resolve end-user challenges with business applications.
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of business applications, ensuring thorough documentation and configuration.
  • Facilitate software deployments, upgrades, and continuous support for end-users.
  • Conduct application testing in a controlled environment with end-users when necessary.
  • Provide on-call assistance as directed by management.
  • Update and maintain technical manuals and user procedures.
  • Test and verify fixes to ensure all related issues are comprehensively addressed.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance, including the installation of updates, patches, and hotfixes.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in application support, with a focus on ERP applications such as accounting, inventory, and pricing, preferably within the retail sector. A total of 5 years of IT experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Ability to develop and maintain standard operating procedures and document support workflows.
  • Familiarity with the PDI Enterprise application suite is advantageous.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-demand, fast-paced setting.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and general programming is beneficial.
  • Proficient in writing and modifying SQL queries and monitoring Windows desktop and server environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a customer service focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and under supervision.
  • Willingness to learn new skills as required.
