Job Title: EMC Compliance Specialist

The position of EMC Compliance Specialist at Radiometrics Midwest Corp. is a critical role that involves ensuring our clients' products comply with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) regulations and standards. As an experienced FCC Certification Engineer, you will play a vital part in guaranteeing our clients' products meet all Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulatory requirements.

This demanding role requires extensive testing, documentation, and coordination with various teams to achieve and maintain FCC certification for their products. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic systems to minimize emissions and electromagnetic interference (EMI) and ensure optimal performance across diverse environments.

Average Salary: $110,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the FCC certification process for new and existing products.
  • Conduct and oversee FCC testing, including RF exposure, EMC, and SAR testing.
  • Prepare and submit FCC certification applications and related documentation.
  • Liaise with certification bodies, and regulatory agencies.
  • Review product designs and provide recommendations to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FCC regulations and standards.
  • Design and develop EMC test plans and procedures for new products and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve compliance-related issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to implement EMC considerations throughout the product development.
  • Identify and resolve EMC issues through root cause analysis and design modifications.
  • Maintain documentation related to EMC compliance and testing results.
