Green Dot Labs is on the lookout for a skilled and innovative Senior Partnerships Manager to enhance our expanding team. This pivotal role will be key in actualizing our brand and marketing vision, bringing the essence of the Green Dot Labs commitment to life through engaging interactions with consumers, retailers, industry influencers, and the media.

We seek an individual who is enthusiastic about the cannabis sector and possesses a solid history of success in cultivating marketing collaborations, influencer outreach, messaging, and event management within the cannabis industry or for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships, Sponsorships & Influencers

  • Formulate and implement strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and influencer initiatives to enhance brand visibility and foster engagement.
  • Identify and nurture relationships with potential partners, sponsors, and influencers that resonate with the values and target demographic of Green Dot Labs.
  • Negotiate partnership contracts and oversee ongoing collaborations.

Events

  • Design, organize, and execute consumer, retail, and industry events.
  • Oversee all facets of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budget oversight, and on-site management.

Public Relations

  • Manage daily interactions with PR agencies to ensure the successful execution of public relations campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate on PR strategies that align with broader marketing goals and messaging.
  • Lead the planning, sourcing, execution, and delivery of Green Dot Labs merchandise.
  • Maintain relationships with merchandise suppliers to guarantee timely and cost-effective solutions.

Team Leadership

  • Guide and mentor a Marketing Associate, offering support and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Conduct performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for development.

Industry Awareness

  • Stay informed about industry trends, consumer insights, and emerging technologies to enhance quality and efficiency.

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Track metrics, assess program effectiveness, and suggest improvements for ongoing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing partnerships, influencer marketing, events, or similar roles, ideally within the cannabis sector or for CPG brands.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in team management.
  • Experience in planning and collaborating with PR partners.
  • A proven record of developing and executing successful marketing programs.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing budgets efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A creative thinker with a strategic approach to developing innovative marketing solutions.
  • Experience in managing external agencies and vendors.
  • A genuine passion for the cannabis industry.
