Who you are:

SumUp is seeking a Partnerships Operations Specialist to join the SumUp team in the Boulder, Colorado office. You will support the Revenue Operations and Sales teams as we look to grow our partnerships channel. This includes our Local Partner program—a group of over 20,000 local-business advocates—and our Merchant Referral process that incentivizes current customers to refer their peers to SumUp. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, collaborative, resourceful, and results-driven.

This is an in-office position in Boulder, Colorado.

What you'll do:

  • Be the face of the Local Partner and Merchant Referral programs with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, and Marketing
  • Take full ownership of the Local Partner and Merchant Referral operations, including payouts and existing internal processes
  • Own external-facing communications to the local partners through email, text, and a Facebook page
  • Update existing and create new automated and one-off email and text campaigns throughout the partners' and merchants' lifecycles
  • Encourage the Sales team to harness the power of these two channels in their own sales process, including working with the Learning and Development team to include training on these programs for new hires
  • Show considerable growth in leads submitted and contracts signed through the two programs
  • Improve the Local Partner experience so partners are engaged and keep SumUp top of mind

What we're looking for:

  • 2-3 years in channel/partner management or marketing, sales enablement, operations
  • 2-3 years in a project management role
  • Basic experience working with Excel or Google Sheets
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and adapt to change
  • Experience working with technical platforms such as Salesforce, Allbound, Partner Stack, etc.
  • Experience with small-to-medium sized businesses, FinTech, SaaS, or point of sale systems is a plus
  • Consultative with strong ability to problem solve with partners to achieve their specific objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation:

  • $60k-$80k
  • Compensation will be finalized based on the candidate's experience and location
