**Job Summary**

The Senior Project Engineer oversees and executes projects supporting pharmaceutical drug substance, intermediates, and fine chemical development and production. This role involves managing various projects across different disciplines such as civil, mechanical, equipment design, and product delivery. Prioritizing project cost, schedule, quality control, and compliance with regulatory laws are key responsibilities.

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop project objectives and business case, ensuring alignment with local staff and management
  • Review project designs for compliance with engineering principles and customer requirements
  • Lead project planning, engineering efforts, and cost estimation
  • Develop plans and criteria for project execution, securing necessary resources
  • Resolve conflicts with contractors and stakeholders
  • Ensure project performance and qualification
  • Oversee a range of project activities including scope development, process design, and construction supervision

**Leadership & Budget Responsibilities**

The Senior Project Engineer provides leadership and management for assigned projects, developing scopes, budgets, and timelines to achieve project objectives. The role fosters a positive project team environment and is willing to take on challenging assignments.

**Qualifications**

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Fine Chemical Industry. Strong communication, mathematical, and reasoning skills are essential.
