Position Overview:
The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our guests during their arrival and departure. This position requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to handle various guest inquiries and requests effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a warm and genuine greeting, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Facilitate the registration process by accurately entering guest information and confirming details such as room rates and occupancy.
  • Process payments and manage financial transactions with precision, including credit card verification and cash handling.
  • Respond promptly to phone inquiries, relaying messages and information to guests as needed.
  • Assist guests during check-out, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction with their stay.
  • Handle guest complaints with professionalism, conducting thorough investigations to resolve issues effectively.
  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and be available for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer service environment is advantageous.
  • Strong mathematical skills for handling financial transactions accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the front office area while performing essential job functions.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and information retrieval.
  • Capable of recognizing and responding to emergency situations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
