We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our team in Frederick, MD.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls, responding to patient inquiries and concerns
  • Reschedule patient appointments as needed, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling
  • Recall patients who have missed or cancelled their appointments, minimizing no-shows and promoting patient retention
  • Verify patient demographics, collect insurance cards and ID, and obtain necessary paperwork
  • Direct incoming faxes to the appropriate department, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Collect copays and deductibles from patients prior to visits or testing, ensuring prompt payment processing
  • Notify patients of required referrals and obtain them by the visit date, facilitating seamless care coordination
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive starting hourly rate of $16.00, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of computer skills
