Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at the University of Kentucky's Kentucky Children's Hospital. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients admitted to our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Review and perfect medication orders to ensure patient safety and efficacy
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
  • Participate in patient care rounds and review patient profiles to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide pharmacokinetic evaluation of therapeutic regimens to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
  • BS Pharmacy or Pharm D degree from an accredited U.S. College of Pharmacy
  • Licensed Pharmacist or License Eligible in Kentucky
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Hospital experience preferred, with pediatric pharmacy experience highly desirable
