The Clinical Pharmacist will contribute to excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction through ensuring daily operations within the hospital pharmacy meet customer and patient expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pharmacy-specific policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other auditing agency regulations.
  • Participate in the interdisciplinary team, providing information and utilizing team input to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  • Accurately interpret medication orders, compound, and dispense medication preparations in accordance with legal and professional standards of pharmacy practice.

Our acute rehabilitation hospital setting serves patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, including stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, and more. 80% of our patients are discharged directly home.

Evidence-Based Practice

We utilize evidence-based practice guidelines to treat our patients, analyzing and improving treatment interventions and programs through our clinical outcomes. We participate in a national outcomes database to continually assess and improve patient outcomes.

Professional Growth

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you'll be paired with mentors and attend educational programs to enhance your skills. Our treatment team includes full-time therapists, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and medical staff, providing opportunities for cross-disciplinary learning.
