JOB SUMMARY


This position is focused on overseeing the quality of perishable goods within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with established standards. Responsibilities include entering orders through data management while providing exceptional customer service and executing other related tasks as necessary. The role requires exercising discretion and independent judgment in quality control operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Conduct daily inspections of produce to verify that items designated for shipping meet quality standards.

2. Liaise with procurement personnel regarding quality concerns and assist in resolving issues to guarantee that customers receive top-quality products.

3. Ensure proper rotation of products during daily checks and communicate any rotation issues to the appropriate staff.

4. Monitor variance reports to accurately account for spoilage, warehouse damage, and other discrepancies.

5. Welcome all internal and external customers in a courteous and efficient manner to maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction.

6. Inspect incoming freight, stored products, and outgoing shipments, documenting the condition of goods.

7. Maintain regular communication with relevant parties regarding the company's product quality status.

8. Analyze, identify, and propose solutions to issues related to Quality Assurance.

9. Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and sanitation standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience

1 to 3 years of relevant experience.

Professional Skills

- Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence.

- Effective communication skills for addressing groups of customers or colleagues.

- Strong listening skills to facilitate effective two-way communication.

- Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

- Solid problem-solving abilities.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
