Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Specialist to join our team at Actalent.

This role involves working on various phases of projects, including PLC programming, HMI and SCADA development, motion control, and system integration and debugging.

As an Automation Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for writing and testing code, developing and maintaining software for PLCs, integrating safety controllers, and programming robots.

The ideal candidate will have experience in SEMI, be willing to travel 10-20% for installations, and be hands-on in the office four days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation systems for manufacturing environments
  • Program and test PLCs, HMIs, and SCADAs
  • Integrate motion control and safety controllers
  • Develop and maintain software for PLCs
  • Program robots and integrate them with automation systems
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in SEMI
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Effective communication and adaptability skills
