We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Program Manager I - Mobility Safety Impact CPS. This part-time position is pivotal in advancing our transportation safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for the development and implementation of safety programs aimed at enhancing public awareness, fostering partnerships, coordinating events, producing educational content, and executing behavior-change initiatives to mitigate injuries and fatalities related to transportation.

Key tasks include:

  • Project Management:
    • Establishing project objectives, purposes, and scopes.
    • Creating comprehensive project plans that outline deliverables, milestones, and necessary tasks.
    • Executing project plans and delegating tasks as needed.
    • Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Outreach and Education:
    • Providing knowledge and awareness of safety programs to diverse populations.
    • Developing written materials such as articles and blogs for various publications.
    • Staying informed on public policy and regulatory influences to effectively address safety issues.
    • Representing the organization at trade shows and similar events.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Engaging in regular communication with stakeholders to promote program objectives.
    • Fostering an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives.
    • Maintaining transparency and open communication with partners regarding program status.
    • Collaborating with other initiatives to identify opportunities for cross-promotion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Certification as a U.S. Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) is required.
  • Experience conducting virtual car seat checks is expected.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with proficiency in presentation and social media.
  • Ability to produce technical documents and research summaries.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • This is a remote part-time position with an hourly rate of $28 - $31.
