Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Roseville, CA. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify invoices and check requests
  • Sort, code, and match invoices
  • Set invoices up for payment
  • Process electronic transfers and payments
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors as needed
  • Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers
  • Assist with month-end closing, including accruals and reconciliation of accounts
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar financial role
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures and principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $28 - $30 per hour
