Role Summary:

The Clinical Trainee Therapist role is designed to uphold anti-oppressive and anti-racist practices, as well as trauma-informed care, in all interactions with colleagues, community members, and stakeholders. This position involves providing administrative and operational support to program staff engaged in community efforts to combat socioeconomic and health disparities. Candidates should have a strong interest and experience in working with diverse populations, including varying ages, disabilities, religious beliefs, ethnic backgrounds, and sexual orientations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-home services and utilize telehealth as necessary.
  • Maintain a minimum of 15-20 billable hours weekly for part-time roles.
  • Manage a caseload of 10-12 ongoing clients, adjusting for cancellations.
  • Conduct 2-4 diagnostic assessments weekly.
  • Facilitate community-based group sessions as needed.
  • Implement diagnostic assessments and culturally informed therapy.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide ongoing individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings.
  • Offer culturally competent services that prioritize advocacy and client-centered approaches.
  • Encourage client retention through regular communication and coordination with other healthcare providers.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of services, including progress notes.
  • Participate in departmental clinical supervision and meetings, including monthly training sessions, and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to compliance standards set by regulatory bodies.
  • Other related responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (LGSW, LICSW), Counseling (MA LPCC, MA LMFT), or equivalent licensure.
