Role Summary:

The Clinical Trainee Therapist will actively promote anti-oppressive and anti-racist practices, as well as trauma-informed approaches in all interactions with staff, community members, and stakeholders. This role involves supporting program staff in administrative and operational capacities to tackle socioeconomic and health disparities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working with diverse populations, including individuals of varying ages, abilities, religions, ethnicities, races, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, and relationship structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-home services and utilize telehealth as required.
  • Maintain a minimum of 15-20 billable hours weekly for part-time positions.
  • Manage a caseload of 10-12 ongoing clients, accommodating cancellations as necessary.
  • Conduct 2-4 diagnostic assessments weekly.
  • Facilitate community-based group sessions as needed.
  • Perform diagnostic assessments and culturally informed therapy.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide ongoing individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings.
  • Offer culturally sensitive, advocacy-oriented, and client-centered services.
  • Encourage client retention and maintain regular communication, coordinating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document services adequately, including detailed progress notes.
  • Participate in departmental clinical supervision and other meetings, including monthly training sessions, and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Other related responsibilities may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree, LGSW, LICSW, MA (LPCC), MA (LMFT), or LP.
