Chief Financial Officer Job Description

Path Construction Central is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead the company's financial, administrative, and risk management operations.

As a key member of the executive team, the Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives, including performance measures.

  • Develop and implement financial and tax strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage capital, investments, and budgeting processes to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Implement operational best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and improve Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Processes to optimize cash flow.
  • Structure and manage corporate entities to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Oversee the corporate insurance program to ensure adequate coverage.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or business administration and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial leadership roles. A high level of written and oral communication skills is essential, as well as experience in partnering with executive teams. Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance, CPA, or Certified Management Accountant designations within the construction industry.
