Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of accounting systems to guarantee accuracy and completeness in transaction processing and financial controls.

  • Prepare and maintain reconciliations and supporting documentation to verify the integrity of financial information, performed on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Coordinate with team members to accurately process monthly and fiscal year-end entries and reconciliations.
  • Generate reports and present findings to the Board as necessary, collaborating with other staff members.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Provide training and backup support for other accounting personnel to ensure efficient investment account processing and reporting.
  • Research and analyze investment accounting methodologies, recommending best practices for operational efficiency.
  • Participate in special studies aimed at enhancing internal controls and the accuracy of accounting functions.
  • Engage in additional technical accounting duties as required, including attending relevant meetings and training sessions.

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, along with four or more years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, with experience in creating and troubleshooting pivot tables.
