CK Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to enhance the growth of a dynamic biotechnology firm utilizing innovative technology.

This role is a full-time, permanent position.

Compensation:

$90,000 base salary plus commission.

Language Proficiency:

English and Chinese.

Position Overview:

The Business Development (BD) Manager will oversee gene-targeting, mouse model licensing/sales, and preclinical research within the designated region. Responsibilities include achieving business objectives, meeting territory quotas, and identifying new business ventures and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop expertise in both scientific and commercial aspects of the relevant fields.
  • Proactively engage with potential clients, identify business prospects, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and relevant conferences.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to enhance brand visibility and recognition in the market.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • PhD with relevant industry experience.
  • Business Development experience is a plus.
  • Strong enthusiasm for advancements in biopharmaceutical science and commerce.
  • Enjoy networking with leading scientists from biotech and biopharma sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in revenue generation is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Language proficiency: English and Chinese.
