Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer will oversee the accuracy, maintenance, and oversight of treasury, accounting, and fleet functions. This role is responsible for setting financial objectives to meet goals, developing policy and procedures, and contributing to the leadership of the Finance department.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise all staff in the Treasury, Accounting, and Fleet functions
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and leadership of those units
• Contribute to the leadership of the entire Finance department
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training associates; assigning and directing work; appraising performance and recommending raises; coaching and mentoring associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for cash and liquidity management
• Responsible for interest rate and credit risk management
• Responsible for banking and payments relationships
• Responsible for financial planning and analysis, including annual budget
• Assist CFO with business combinations/acquisitions, where applicable
• Responsible for maintaining credit card processes and procedures
• Responsible for insurance and employee benefit programs
• Provide oversight of federal and state, sales and use tax, 179D and RandD, and property tax
• Provide oversight of financial systems and processes
• Oversee real estate program, including lease agreement and acquisitions
• Oversee accounts receivable function
• Oversee accounts payable function
• Oversee Controller function
• Oversee fleet management function
• Provide real-time actionable financial and operational information to business units leaders to facilitate improved decision making
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices
• Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the company's mission and values
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration from an accredited institution
• Public accounting managerial experience
• Corporate controller experience
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel
• Previous experience with accounting system software (NetSuite experience a plus)
• Ability to pass drug screening
• Ability to prove US employment eligibility
