Role SummaryUnder the guidance of the Tooling Supervisor, this role involves performing repairs, maintenance, and engineering changes on production molds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and welding, with experience working with various machines and tools.
Key Responsibilities- Service and maintain assigned tooling and molds, ensuring they're clean and functional.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on tools in and out of the press, including benching and finishing molds.
- Operate various machines, such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and surface grinders.
- Develop and implement solutions to hydraulic problems with molds.
- Read and interpret drawings and prints.
- 3-5 years of continuous machining experience, with training and experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fields.
- Welding experience on tool steel and other exotic metals.
- Ability to work well with others, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Associate's Degree in a Technical Field, with an emphasis on Machining and Welding.
