Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Industrial Sales Representative to join our team as an On-Site Service Specialist. As a key member of our Grainger Businesses, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, managing their inventory, and driving account growth through our KeepStock program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service multiple customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products and services.
  • Manage customer inventory levels, receiving and stocking purchased products, and scanning for ordering purposes as inventory is depleted.
  • Resolve customer problems promptly, retaining and promoting customer loyalty through excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Follow designated routes, maintaining route guides and utilizing routing software tools to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity, process, and cycle time, contributing to the growth and success of our business.
  • Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facilities where services are provided.
  • Collaborate with sales partners to expand Grainger's offerings, creating new orders and engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in a sales or service environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 25 to 60lbs and/or work in difficult positions.
  • Collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle technical and operational issues.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of residence, with required levels of automobile insurance.
