Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly capable and driven Full Charge Bookkeeper to enhance our finance team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to assume a key position in managing our financial documentation and transactions. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will oversee all aspects of our bookkeeping functions, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, managing payroll, and preparing tax documentation. This individual will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial information, contributing to our overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, your main duties will include:

1. Overseeing daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
2. Preparing and submitting financial reports on a weekly or monthly basis as required.
3. Managing company ledgers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
4. Processing payroll and ensuring timely payment of payroll taxes.
5. Preparing and filing sales tax returns while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
6. Collaborating with the finance team to develop forecasts and financial reports.
7. Implementing and maintaining financial controls and procedures.
8. Assisting in the preparation of year-end financial statements and statutory accounts.
9. Addressing financial inquiries by gathering and analyzing data.
10. Conducting internal audits of financial activities as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Full Charge Bookkeeper role should have:

1. At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
2. Proven experience in bookkeeping tasks, including client bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, payroll tax filings, and sales tax returns.
3. Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheet applications, and other business-related software.
4. Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. High integrity and dependability, with a results-oriented mindset.
8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
9. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
