XUNTOS is a vibrant Tapas Bar led by Chef Sandra Cordero, located in a lively urban setting. Our establishment offers a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere, perfect for savoring delicious food and good company.

At XUNTOS, which means "together" in Gallego, we present a menu filled with small plates inspired by the freshest ingredients from local markets and traditional recipes from regions such as Galicia, Asturias, Catalunya, and the Basque Country. Our beverage selection complements the culinary offerings, featuring natural wines, classic cocktails with a Spanish twist, and a variety of vermouths, sherries, and cold beers.

We are currently seeking a Bartender who embodies enthusiasm, urgency, and a welcoming spirit. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment.

A genuine passion for natural wine is essential for this position. You should be able to share your knowledge in an engaging and conversational manner.

As a Bartender, your primary goal will be to provide guests with an exceptional experience by guiding them through our menu, ensuring timely service, and maintaining a clean and inviting space.

  • Be responsive to guest requests, dietary needs, and allergies.
  • Prepare all beverages in accordance with XUNTOS' standards.
  • Maintain proper bar service, including serving, clearing, and refilling water.
  • Acquire a deep understanding of our food menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and characteristics.
  • Develop extensive knowledge of our drink offerings, focusing on wine varieties, regions, styles, and producers.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure all dishes meet XUNTOS' standards.
  • Serve wine confidently and accurately.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Communicate service issues and guest feedback promptly to management.
  • Assist in maintaining a seamless guest experience by filling in where necessary.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as outlined in checklists.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations.

Your Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated potential and ambition for growth.
  • Participation in mandatory training sessions.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar service environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with reservation management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • A proactive approach to personal development and feedback.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and stretch; frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the establishment.

This role demands physical stamina, including carrying beverages, moving furniture, and maintaining an energetic presence during service hours.
