Position Overview:
The Bartender is an essential role within our vibrant establishment, responsible for crafting and serving a diverse array of high-quality beverages. This position requires a blend of creativity, skill, and exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere at the bar.
• Skillfully prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including classic cocktails, wines, and specialty drinks.
• Engage with patrons to provide tailored recommendations and answer inquiries about the drink menu.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of cocktail recipes and presentation standards to ensure quality and consistency.
• Ensure the bar area is organized and clean, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Restock supplies as needed, ensuring all ingredients are readily available throughout the shift.
• Operate bar equipment efficiently and accurately process drink orders using the point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly and provide accurate billing to guests.
• Promote premium beverages and specials through effective upselling techniques.
• Assist with inventory management, monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service of drink orders alongside food.
• Comply with all legal regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages, including verifying guest identification.
• Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience in an upscale environment is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of mixology, including both classic and innovative cocktail techniques.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to connect with guests in a professional manner.
• Attention to detail in drink preparation and presentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices is essential.
