ROLE SUMMARY
The Bartender plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience of our guests.

This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a warm and welcoming manner, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Additionally, the Bartender is responsible for supporting the Servers and Bussers with efficient service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To succeed in this role, the individual must effectively manage the following tasks:

  • Process payments for beverages served.
  • Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol service.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and balance receipts.
  • Proactively address issues related to excessive drinking, including offering alternatives or arranging transportation for guests.
  • Ensure cleanliness of glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
  • Receive and fulfill beverage orders from patrons and serving staff.
  • Serve a variety of drinks, including wine and both bottled and draft beer.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and tables.
  • Craft cocktails and mixed drinks by combining various ingredients.
  • Provide light snacks or food items to guests at the bar.
  • Manage inventory by ordering or requisitioning necessary supplies.
  • Address disruptive behavior by asking guests to leave or taking appropriate action.
  • Prepare garnishes by slicing and pitting fruits.
  • Arrange bottles and glassware to create visually appealing displays.
  • Oversee the operations of the bar area, ensuring smooth functioning.
  • Guide and supervise the bar staff and fellow bartenders.
  • Prepare simple appetizers for guests.
  • Consistently check identification before serving alcoholic beverages.
