As a Disaster Response Coordinator with the American Red Cross, you will play a critical role in supporting our disaster services programming and ensuring that we deliver relief to those affected by disasters in a rapid, accessible, and equitable manner.

Job Description

The Disaster Response Coordinator will facilitate and support a diverse volunteer team responsible for implementing disaster cycle services programming in their assigned geographic area. They will ensure that disaster services are delivered in accordance with our Concept of Operations, and they will work closely with disaster program supervisors, chapter leadership, and other stakeholders to achieve this goal.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social services or program delivery, with experience in coordinating staff and volunteer activities, developing project plans and budgets, and analyzing business data to improve services to individuals and communities.
