About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Nigeria Capacity Building Coordinator to support the administration of a U.S. government-funded program based in Abuja, Nigeria. The Coordinator will work closely with the USFS International Programs (IP) office in Washington, DC, and other partner organizations to develop, implement, and report on USFS-led activities in Nigeria.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's and/or Advanced Degree in disaster, humanitarian, or crisis management, or a related discipline. Relevant professional experience may serve as a substitute for degree qualifications. Demonstrated experience in managing field-based project implementation, preferably in emergency management, in Nigeria, is also required.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $72,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Coordinator will be responsible for providing technical and logistical support to short-term USFS technical advisors on mission to Nigeria.
