Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

1. Meet established KPIs and revenue targets in lead generation, account expansion, and new client acquisition.

2. Clearly articulate our value proposition to potential clients, engaging in discussions around logistics, e-commerce, and regulated goods.

3. Identify leads, initiate contact, follow up, and directly sell to clients to meet your annual sales objectives.

4. Collaborate with the Senior Sales team to share leads and insights.

5. Present pricing structures and contracts to clients, negotiating terms effectively.

6. Analyze profit and loss statements, costs, and make informed margin decisions.

7. Discuss technological concepts such as APIs, billing files, and tracking systems at a conceptual level.

8. Occasionally act as a point of escalation for client issues.

9. Utilize CRM systems efficiently, ensuring all pertinent customer information is accurately recorded.

10. Ensure a seamless transition of accounts to the Account Management Department post-sale.

11. Work closely with the finance team to ensure pricing and financial terms are accurately reflected on client invoices and rectify any discrepancies.

12. Strategically plan and implement solutions to enhance the client base and increase market share.

13. Build mutually beneficial relationships with clients by understanding their primary needs and requirements.

14. Serve as the primary communication liaison between key clients and internal teams.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of two to four years of relevant direct sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the shipping and logistics sector with major carriers is essential. Candidates with a background in logistics, shipping, 3PL, or e-commerce are encouraged to apply.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Must demonstrate a self-starting attitude with a proactive approach and a strong sales-driven mentality.

Commitment to high standards and excellence.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities and workflows.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within various teams.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to prepare reports and business correspondence.

Ability to perform calculations related to discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

A valid driver's license is required, with the ability to travel to client locations, often visiting multiple sites in a single day.
