With positions available at each site, Breeze AMTs receive compensation based on their experience level.

Starting pay can reach up to $32.50 per hour depending on experience

**Our AMTs also benefit from an additional stipend of $800 monthly**

Key Responsibilities

The Aviation Maintenance Specialist (AMS) is tasked with executing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and modifications on Breeze aircraft. This includes troubleshooting, conducting run-up and taxi procedures, and signing off on mechanical flight releases. The AMS reports to a Line Maintenance Supervisor and adheres to instructions as assigned in compliance with FAA regulations and Breeze policies.

As certified AMS professionals, you play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our Breeze Team members and guests, as well as the airworthiness of our fleet.
Key Duties Include:
  • Perform all assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with the Breeze General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
  • Assume responsibility for all work performed
  • Complete all necessary Breeze documentation for assigned and completed work
  • Handle all parts, units, assemblies, and aircraft with care during the repair process
  • Maintain current documentation regarding open discrepancies and completed corrective actions
  • Accurately complete all required documentation for maintenance work performed or inspections conducted
  • Timely submit personal OJT Task Cards
  • Keep the work area safe, clean, and operational, ensuring all tools are accounted for after task completion
  • Properly maintain and utilize tools and equipment used for aircraft maintenance
  • Notify the Maintenance Supervisor and relevant Team Members of any conditions that may affect the airworthiness of Breeze aircraft
  • Maintain a valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or Repairman Certificate, ensuring availability for inspection by FAA, NTSB, or Breeze Supervisor/Manager
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Maintenance Leadership, MOC, and/or DOM
  • Meet performance measures and adhere to established standards aligned with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence
Qualifications for Success
Minimum Requirements
  • Possess a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no infractions and recent experience on commercial aircraft
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
  • Must have a valid passport with no travel restrictions
  • Authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Ability to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
  • Flexibility to work all shifts to support a 24/7 operation
  • Willingness to travel 20% of the time
  • Collaborative spirit to work with other departments as needed
  • Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
  • Pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and Breeze background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of FAA regulations including FAR part 121 operations
  • Experience with Embraer E-Jet and/or Airbus A220 family aircraft
  • Familiarity with an airline Maintenance Information System (MIS) such as TRAX
  • Degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or Business preferred
