Position Overview
As a vital member of the Menzies Aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and effective maintenance and repair of airport service vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify defective or damaged components on vehicles.
- Perform repairs on gas and diesel engines, as well as hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Adhere to the Hydration Schedule for electric equipment.
- Repair all non-motorized equipment as necessary.
- Program and understand the functionalities of the Rapid Charger, including the Battery Monitor and Identification Device (BMID).
- Replace and repair tires and wheels as needed.
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Operate service equipment vehicles safely.
- Conduct accident inspections on involved equipment and report findings to Shop Supervisors and Managers.
- Respond to all radioed repair requests on the ramp.

Operational Support
Your role is crucial in ensuring that our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing timely preventative care and repairs to equipment.

Safety and Compliance
- Maintain a secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies.
- Must possess a valid US driver's license and be able to pass pre-employment background checks, physical tests, and drug screenings.
- Comfortable lifting and moving up to 70lbs and working in various weather conditions.

Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience required.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is necessary, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airport Badge.

Working Conditions
- The work environment may include exposure to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high voltages, and hazardous materials.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle tools, and occasionally lift up to 70lbs.
