Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Process Engineer to join our Fab 9 Team in Essex Junction, VT. As a key member of our CMP Manufacturing Engineering organization, you will be responsible for supporting and continuously improving 200mm semiconductor equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and modify process formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards
  • Create, analyze, and review technical charts
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver organizational goals
  • Mentor engineers and process technicians to develop talent within the organization
  • Lead projects independently and deliver on committed dates for closure
Requirements
  • BS degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Solid State Physics, Chemical, or other relevant engineering physical science discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years of semiconductor process engineering experience
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, and internal and external partners
  • Fluency in English Language - written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of semiconductor/silicon processing
  • Understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Prior experience working in a semiconductor cleanroom environment
  • Prior experience working as an engineer in semiconductor manufacturing
What We Offer

GlobalFoundries offers a competitive salary range of $77,000 to $142,000.00, depending on qualifications, experience, and location. The exact salary will be determined based on individual qualifications and experience.

The role may require obtaining a US Department of Defense Security Clearance at some time during employment. Acceptance of this role commits to applying for such if requested.
