Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Principal Process Engineer to join our Fab 9 Team in Essex Junction, VT. As a key member of our CMP Manufacturing Engineering organization, you will be responsible for supporting and continuously improving 200mm semiconductor equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and modify process formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards
- Create, analyze, and review technical charts
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver organizational goals
- Mentor engineers and process technicians to develop talent within the organization
- Lead projects independently and deliver on committed dates for closure
- BS degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Solid State Physics, Chemical, or other relevant engineering physical science discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of semiconductor process engineering experience
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, and internal and external partners
- Fluency in English Language - written and verbal
- Knowledge of semiconductor/silicon processing
- Understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Prior experience working in a semiconductor cleanroom environment
- Prior experience working as an engineer in semiconductor manufacturing
GlobalFoundries offers a competitive salary range of $77,000 to $142,000.00, with the exact salary determined based on qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
