Summary of Role:
Our team is in search of a Principal Process Engineer.

The selected candidate will join the CMP Manufacturing Engineering division, focusing primarily on the support and enhancement of 200mm semiconductor equipment.


Key Responsibilities include:
Formulating and refining process methodologies, controls, and formulations to adhere to quality benchmarks.
Generate, assess, and scrutinize technical documentation.
Employ analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address intricate challenges.
Collaborate effectively with team members.
Ensure the availability of assigned toolsets while maintaining quality standards.
Achieve quality objectives for designated toolsets.
Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for relevant processes.
Comprehend product development specifications and validate processes on assigned toolsets to fulfill those specifications.
Integrate equipment and material capabilities to align with process module and technology requirements.
Drive Continuous Improvement Plans (CIP) to enhance process performance, cost-efficiency, throughput, and yield.
Lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.
Guide engineers and process technicians to cultivate talent within the organization.
Effectively manage time and prioritize projects autonomously.
Independently lead projects and ensure timely completion.

Additional Responsibilities:


Conduct all activities in a safe and responsible manner, supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security protocols and initiatives.


Required Qualifications:


Education – A Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Solid State Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering or physical science discipline is essential.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, clients, and both internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in English – both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with semiconductor/silicon processing.
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
Previous experience in a semiconductor cleanroom environment.
Prior engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
Ability to work efficiently with diverse teams, clients, and both internal and external stakeholders.

Project management skills - the capability to innovate and implement impactful solutions; adeptness at navigating uncertainty.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent planning and organizational abilities.

Expected Salary Range:
$77,000 - $142,000. The precise salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location.

This role may necessitate obtaining a US Department of Defense Security Clearance during employment.

Acceptance of this position implies a commitment to apply for such clearance if requested.
