The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sterile processing and leadership, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management and facilitation of production, projects, and quality within customer IPS engagements.
  • Ensure customer expectations are met by managing activities and complying with contractual obligations.
  • Provide on-site support, training, and communication to contracted facilities sterile processing department management and personnel.
  • Ensure SPD compliance with the Department of Health, JC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, and AORN standards and facility policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of leadership experience in SPD or related field.
  • Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or HSPA required.
  • Must maintain valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and be available to operate a vehicle as needed to meet travel requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Instrument tracking software and employee management system experience.
  • Medical instrument knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Sterile Processing, Operating Room, and Material Management functions.
