Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Events Shift Manager to join our team at Agua Caliente Casinos. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for overseeing all promotions and events to ensure continued revenue objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a special events calendar to ensure timely preparation and execution of promotions and events.
  • Plan, budget, and oversee assigned projects, including delegating tasks to Special Events Coordinators.
  • Develop event-related materials, including proformas, postformas, and event checklists.
  • Work closely with the ACGC to procure approved gaming submissions and ensure events are conducted as stated.
  • Assist with daily events and promotions operational functions, including preparing paperwork and filing documents.
  • Collaborate with support departments to execute events and promotions.
  • Manage inventory levels, track lead-times, and ensure execution of contracts with outside vendors.
  • Assist with proofing of advertising materials and maintain effective use of resources.
  • Represent the Special Events/Marketing team in promotion and events activities off-site.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3 or more years of marketing, events, and/or casino promotion experience.
  • Strong organizational and systematic abilities, along with communication, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Leadership abilities and ability to multi-task under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel software programs.
  • In-depth understanding of casino and tourism business operations.
Working Conditions

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 3+ miles, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.
