Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional to join our post-acute medical sales team in a dynamic and growing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the post-acute care market, including long-term care facilities, home health and hospice agencies, and medical equipment providers.
- Sell clinical and operational solutions to all levels of decision-makers, including owners, senior clinical officers, and purchasing managers.
- Develop a strong knowledge base about Medline's extensive product catalog and value-added programs and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
- Cold call and prospect to develop new business opportunities and expand existing relationships.
- Present new products and initiatives, educate customers on current industry trends and regulations, and prepare bids and negotiate contracts.
- Take ownership and leadership of your territory, driving growth and revenue like your own business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience, with a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales.
- Or, at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience, with a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales.
- Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization.
- Proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business, build consensus, and develop complex sales strategies.
- Background in commissioned, tangible product sales, with a track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment.
- Ability to present multiple product lines, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Stable work history and computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to drive a car, travel in that car 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on-site.
