Job Summary

This is a non-benefited position that requires a high school diploma or GED, with college credits preferred. Experience in the media or library field is also desirable. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and planning skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows to manage the cataloging and processing of library materials.
  • Process and catalog library media materials according to county specifications.
  • Receive and inventory library materials, and prepare, ship, and track processed materials via courier.
  • Maintain ongoing digital communication with librarians and media technicians, and provide training in the Library Management System.
  • Support the development of the Sora Digital Library by maintaining accurate access levels.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • College credits preferred
  • Experience in media or library field preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; customer-service oriented
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills
