Job Overview

This role is centered on cultivating strong partnerships with consulting engineers and project owners while delivering expert technical support to the sales team. The position involves assisting engineers, architects, and owners in effectively designing product layouts with a focus on solutions. The specialist will provide essential technical sales assistance to ensure comprehensive proposals and project support are delivered. Collaboration with manufacturers will also be key, leveraging market insights on the products represented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Innovate technical product solutions for both new installations and retrofitting projects.
  • Prioritize and execute tasks efficiently while achieving set objectives.
  • Gain proficiency in the company's software for product selection, pricing, and quotations.
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure all components of an application function seamlessly.
  • Prepare and update engineering support materials for use by both engineering and sales teams, including technology presentations.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to respond to client inquiries with tailored solutions that meet customer needs throughout the sales process.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of product sales marketing tools aligned with company priorities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Sales to create technical proposals and presentations.
  • Seek project prioritization from management when commitments cannot be met.
  • Engage in direct marketing efforts and be willing to attend events, travel, and entertain clients.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong ability to interact effectively with sales teams, contractors, and engineers is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation capabilities.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with HVAC systems is ideal.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Understanding of business considerations in project support.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC Engineering.
  • Outgoing personality with a background in sales and customer interaction.
