Job Title: Registered Nurse II

Job Summary:

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our Orthopedic Unit team. As a Registered Nurse II, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level.
  • Deliver safe and effective care, interacting with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.

Work Environment:

The Orthopedic Unit at MUSC is a 20-bed acute care, post-operative unit specializing in Orthopedic and Urology surgeries. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.
