Job Title: Registered Nurse II

Job Summary:

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team. As a Registered Nurse II, you will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective care to patients with complex cancer diagnoses, including hematologic malignancies and solid organ tumors.
  • Administer and monitor patients receiving high-risk chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and those enrolled in clinical trials.
  • Manage the side-effects related to cancer treatments.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain chemotherapy competence and stay up-to-date with the latest cancer care practices.

Requirements:

  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
