Job Title: Registered Nurse II

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse II is responsible for providing individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level. This includes delivering safe and effective care, interacting with other members of the healthcare team, and achieving desired results.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements:
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, either from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
