Role Summary: The Contract Specialist will be engaged in a variety of contract-related tasks that require independent analysis and sound judgment. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of company protocols and practices associated with construction management operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Senior Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer.
  • Manage and review contract documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and evaluate payment applications and conduct desk audits of contractor billings.
  • Ensure that all necessary documentation is obtained from contractors.
  • Compile monthly reports and monitor contract performance.
  • Document project meetings and prepare general correspondence.
  • Coordinate meetings and inspections, maintain logs, and manage databases.
  • Communicate effectively through various channels and monitor inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Business from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to secure a high SWAC clearance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, One Drive, SharePoint, and SAP.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering is advantageous.

Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $30.00 to $40.00, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
