Project Manager/Senior Water Engineer Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support pursuits and attend interviews for pursuits, client management, project scope development, project planning, organizing, change management, inter-discipline coordination, production coordination, team leadership, financial management, project quality control, and delivery.
  2. Maintain healthy client relationships and possess solid operational insight for driving projects and executing deliverables.
  3. Understand project goals and clearly communicate them to project teams to ensure client expectations are consistently achieved.
  4. Independently lead master plans, detailed planning studies, concept, schematic, and detailed designs, plans development, opinions of probable construction cost (OPCC), and technical specifications for pump stations, storage facilities, water/wastewater treatment facilities, and water and wastewater conveyance systems.
  5. Perform basis-of-design analyses, asset condition analyses, design calculations, infrastructure siting, detailed design, and permitting.
  6. Lead and support design projects, providing project planning and coordination, design method development, technical specification development, coordination of front-end documents, engineering report preparation and coordination, equipment sizing and selection, and quality control reviews.

Requirements

We are looking for a credible leader with strong technical experience related to the support of water/wastewater projects. A S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering with relevant experience is required. E. experience with municipal water and wastewater planning and design is also preferred but not required.
