Job Title: Mid-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer

Carollo Engineers is a leading environmental engineering firm specializing in water and wastewater facilities planning, design, and construction. We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to support our mission of delivering innovative water solutions.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects. As a member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to partner with industry leaders in water research, technology, and solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
  • Work on engineering planning and design projects
  • Prepare reports and technical memoranda
  • Develop plans and specifications
  • Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
  • Permitting and alternative analysis
  • Data entry and analysis
  • Provide engineering services during construction
  • Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 6 to 12 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer
  • Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
